Parashat Terumah – Feb 24/25, 2012

posted Sep 18, 2009 7:11 AM by Congregation Ayin L'Tzion   [ updated Feb 24, 2012 11:15 AM ]

Kiddush this Shabbat is sponsored by the Blum family in memory of Max’s parents, for their upcoming yahrzeits - Shmuel Eliezer Ben Mordechai Zvi HaLevi and Elka bat R'Asher Anshel, z”l.

On Shabbos Morning, March 10, the shul will host Rabbi Meir Goldwicht, a prominent Israeli scholar, educator, and a Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva University's Mazer School of Talmudic Studies and head of YU’s Stone Beit Medrash program. Rav Goldwicht's last visit to our kehillah was very well received and we look forward to an energizing program!

Ayin L’tzion Youth Department

The month of February flew by so fast,

Though in groups we still managed to have a blast!

Parsha themed games for us to play,

Some new toys, some new snacks, what more can we say.

"Build your own Har Sinai" parsha snack was tons of fun!

Cupcakes, icing, sprinkles and "luchot" for everyone.

So many toys, snacks and books, in the shul we needed to takeover more spaces,

All the leaders thoroughly enjoyed seeing the chocolate icing all over the kids faces :)

We're very excited because Purim is on its way,

Looking forward to a very exciting, fun-filled day!

Note to Parents:  Over the last few weeks we have made
the preschool snacks completely peanut and sesame free.
We will try and continue this so all the kids can enjoy!
Please let us know if your child has an allergy and we will
  try and accommodate.
