Ayin L'tzion Youth Programs

Shabbat and Chagim:

Our Youth Program's goal is to create a positive environment for our children's development and love of Shabbat and chagim. As parents, we understand how important Youth Groups are and are committed to maintaining top-quality programming for our kids. At the same time, we need cooperation from all participating parents on our guidelines & policies.

Meet the Youth Department:

Youth Chair  - Jacob Krygier: As a parent himself Jacob understands the needs and concerns regarding Shabbat and Youth programming. Jacob works closely with the Youth director as well as the leaders to provide effective youth programs for the kids. Jacob’s guidance and time given is very much appreciated.

Youth Director - Dina Bahar: Dina has recently joined the Ayin L’tzion team and has been giving the groups a massive makeover! Dina has done a great job further developing a fun, safe & positive Torah environment for our kids. In addition, she has introduced new & improved programs and activities for the children to enjoy.

Dina has been providing enjoyable Torah programming for the children as well as giving guidance and providing leadership for our youth leaders. We are very excited to see what amazing programs Dina introduces in the year to come!

Youth Leaders: Avraham Elmaleh, Esther Elmaleh, Yaakov Elmaleh, David Herman, Racheli Hershkop, Michal Laras, Orit Laras, Ariela Snowbell, Abby Skosowski , and Sabrina Toledano -> the shul is very lucky to have a great team of dedicated youth leaders, some of which have been with the shul for over 3 years! The leaders work tirelessly to ensure the children are having a great shul experience.

A Sample Shabbat:

Youth programs run from 9:30 am and continue through the end of shul.

Programs include tefilla, parsha, interactive parsha questions (for our older groups), circle time (for our preschool group), Shabbat party, games, story, free play and weather permitting outdoor play.

Special activities are often added to groups for chagim and special events.

Some highlights this past year in groups included:

A Succah party, Rosh chodesh donughts, Chanuka games, parsha themed snack, visits from the Rabbi, interactive parsha, a makkot feast, Purim stories, obstacle courses, a shul Shavout ice cream party, youth Shabbat and so much more!

This year we are expanding our programs outside of Shabbat and chagim mornings to bring you so much more!
